Jacksonville Foundation Fighting Blindness chapter members recently had the opportunity to get their hands on some of the latest low-vision aids during a presentation at the University of Florida Charter Auditorium given by a low-vision aid vendor from Ocala.

The owner of Magnifying America, John Palmer, showed meeting attendees a variety of handheld magnifiers and desktop readers and magnifiers, including the Ace , the Zoomax Zoompad 7 and Zoomax Butterfly. Attendees were then able to try the devices themselves and ask questions.

To learn more about the wide variety of quality low-vision aids available through Magnifying America, please visit the website or call 1-800-364-1610.
