Jackie's South Bay Weekend Guide for July 17, 2014

My 12 year old niece, Piper, is visiting us from Florida for the month of July and I’ve seen and done more things around the South Bay in the last two weeks than ever before. We visited the Roundhouse Aquarium; picnicked at Point Vicente and visited the Interpretive Center; flew kites during a Redondo Pier Concert; shopped at the Downtown Marketplace in Torrance; checked out the cars at Cruise at the Beach; picnicked in Polliwog Park; enjoyed lunch and a concert in Metlox Plaza; went to the beach; tangled ourselves up doing aerial yoga; took a stand up paddleboard lesson; and before the week is over, sailing and a visit to ESMoA. You bet, I’m exhausted….but we’re having a ton of fun! Should you have family or friends visiting this summer (or any time of the year!) be sure to visit my website for a comprehensive selection of activities and events for all ages, taking place throughout the South Bay.
