For those of you that didn’t read about it on Facebook, I attended my Neighborhood Watch meeting a couple of nights ago. In the middle of the meeting, we heard a woman screaming and all six police officers in attendance ran outside and caught a guy assaulting a woman right in front of the home we were meeting in – I think he was trying to take her cell phone. It may have been the quickest arrest on record and how he didn’t see the cruisers is beyond me…. a shoe-in for the Darwin Awards.
