"I was born April 20th 1975 in Corpus Christi TX, to my single mother Alice of three children I spent much of my childhood in the church choir growing a passion in music. As the years blossomed, I became a father of four and took on many of life struggles. After attempting years of pursuing an R&B career, I became known in various cities. As quoted by Trill magazine, "This song bird has a style of his own and his soundand lyrics are food for your soul," shares Jackie. His Gospel roots re-trasition came in June 2009.
Jackie shares what the most rewarding thing is about singing. "The most rewarding thing about singing is how it makes other people feel.I've been told when they hear my music its helps them deal with some of thier problems."
Jackie also shares, "As far as my projects go I just recently finished a independant film where I starred in called "Is This Love?" Dir /wrote by Charay Vaughn . I will also be featured in faith based film called "Predestined Journey" Dir Garrick Parks & Writer Evangelist Marty Rogers..also I'm working on Gospel mixtape "JBonds Mission Is Possible."
"My goals for 2013 is to keep striving towards making it in the music industry as well in the show biz with acting and performing on stage," states Jackie.
Jackie recently received an awards and nomination for the best gospel song of the year. "I was a recent recipient of the first annual SCM Gospel Awards for winning best male independant Gospel soloist of the Yr 2011/2012 and also was nominated for having best gospel song of the year "I Got God On It."
