Jack Wagner, who portrayed secret agent Frisco Jones on “General Hospital” in the 1980s and 1990s, will reprise the role beginning next week, The Inquisitr reported on Saturday, Feb. 2. When Wagner left the role of Frisco Jones approximately 18 years ago, fans thought the secret agent was gone from “General Hospital” forever.
Wagner is ready to make his return, saying:
“I think, in life, we never can anticipate where it’s going to take us, so to be back here and to be back here working with Kristina [Wagner], my ex-wife, who’s so beautiful and wonderful, and to have so many of the core characters back from the ‘80s, when ‘General Hospital’ was so huge – [it’s] been awesome. I’m really happy. I’m glad I came back.”
Jack Wagner will make his first return appearance on “General Hospital” Monday, Feb. 4. The following week Genie Francis will return to “General Hospital” as Laura Spencer.
Jack Wagner, who portrayed Dr. Peter Burns on the Fox hit drama “Melrose Place,” broke off his engagement to former co-star Heather Locklear in November 2011. Wagner was married to the former Kristina Malandro from 1993 until 2006. The couple has two sons, Peter and Harrison.
In addition to his role as Frisco Jones on “General Hospital,” Wagner portrayed Warren Lockridge on “Santa Barbara” from 1991 until the soap opera’s end in 1993, and Nick Marone on “The Bold and the Beautiful” from 2003 until 2012. Jack Wagner has guest-starred on “Monk,” “Hot In Cleveland,” and “Castle.”
