Frisco Jones is coming back to Port Charles. TV Guide has confirmed on Jan. 22 that Jack Wagner is returning to his role as the hunky spy on “General Hospital.” In fact, he has already been on the set taping scenes with his former soap co-stars.
Wagner is just one of many “GH” icons that have agreed to make a comeback to their original roles as the ABC daytime drama is having its 50th anniversary this spring. Genie Francis, Jon Lindstrom and Kin Shriner have also decided to join in the celebration.
Frisco Jones was a well-loved character and part of the whole Frisco and Felicia phenomenon back in the 1980’s. But just like every other famous soap couple, they ended up going their separate ways. Frisco will be coming back to Port Charles to find that his ex is hooked up again with Mac Scorpio. Kristina Wagner, who plays the role of Felicia Jones, is also Wagner’s ex in real life. Their marriage ended in 2006.
It will be great to have the 53-year-old actor back. He has recently made an appearance on ABC’s “Castle” and of course, had his short stint on the dance floor last year on “Dancing with the Stars.” It is not known how long he will stay on the daytime drama but soap fans are thrilled to have more “GH” vets back for as long as they can get them.
Are you excited to have Jack Wagner back on “General Hospital?"
