The Sun Herald has a story up on Jack Swagger, real name Donald Jacob Hager, who was pulled over late Tuesday night in Biloxi, Mississippi after the WWE television taping for speeding. It was then observed by the police that he was impaired. He was then arrested for arrested on charges of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and speeding. One has to wonder why Swagger would take the chance of driving impaired as he is scheduled to wrestle World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio at Wrestle Mania 29. We will find out in the coming days and weeks if Swagger will be pulled from that match and program with Del Rio. Any way you slice it, the timing of this is bad for Swagger and WWE.
WWE released the following statement regarding Swagger’s arrest:
"Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions."
