Thursday night, Jack Osbourne’s wife Lisa Stelly announced that she had a late-term miscarriage and the news has created a buzz Saturday. Lisa Stelly has been mourning the loss of her baby for over a week in private and said she dreaded telling everyone about what happened.
Lisa Stelly posted this message on her blog, “RaddestMom,” according to Fox News:
I have been dreading this announcement.... I needed some time before being able to say it. Jack and I lost our baby boy last week," she wrote. "Having a late-term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through. We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time. It's important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life's toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives.
Lisa Stelly doesn’t specifically mention how far along she was when she lost the baby, and the later the miscarriage the more dangerous it can be for the mother.
Jack and Lisa are each 27-years-old and they have a 16-month old daughter, Pearl Clementine. Jack has been preparing for his spot on the “Dancing with the Stars” show that will premiere in just over a week. Jack was diagnosed with MS last year and fans are concerned that he may have some problems dancing on the show because of his condition.
Later after receiving numerous comments of support from fans, Lisa Stelly posted this message on Twitter: “Cuddling my amazing, sweet hubby and shutting my eyes. Thank you all for the love and support. It means the world.”
