Jennifer Lawrence was doing an interview after winning her Oscar for Best Actress for "Silver Linings Playbook." According to ABC News on Feb. 25, Jack Nicholson stopped by to offer her a wonderful compliment.
Nicholson walked over and apologized for interrupting her interview but he wanted to tell her how beautiful her performance was. Lawrence, in shock, joked that Jack was just being "so rude" for the interruption. The two then told each other how much they enjoyed the other's movies.
As Jack, 75, was walking off, he mentioned that she reminded him of an old girlfriend. Lawrence, always one with a quick comeback, asked if she reminded him of a new girlfriend. Jack then one-upped her by saying "I was considering it."
That finally took Lawrence off her game, as she buried her face in her hands and showed her shock at the exchange. That is when Jack popped back in and said "I'll be waiting." Lawrence joked that she needed a rear view mirror and then stated that is the moment she will remember the most from the evening.
Jennifer Lawrence also said she had never met Jack Nicholson before that moment. Regardless of how the exchange went, having a legend like Jack Nicholson compliment her work has to be a moment that Jennifer Lawrence will never forget.
