Located near the intersection of Taylor and 4th, Jack’s Bar and Lounge could easily be one of the best neighborhood dive bars in San Jose.
While Jack’s Bar and Lounge may be small, the enjoyment isn’t. During the day you’ll often find Travis, the bar tender from the popular Flying Pig Pub for those San Jose natives who have been around before that area of 1st Street was remodeled. Many other popular bar tender favorites work here as well; each with their own unique drinks and shots available.
Jack’s Bar and Lounge also features monthly events, from specialty mixes to party buses and parking lot bar-b-queues all of which are promoted via the bar’s website and social media outlets. In fact, you can find Jack’s Bar and Grill online, on Facebook, Yelp, FourSquare, Twitter, MySpace and they even show off some of their favorite videos on YouTube.
The crowds at jack’s Bar and Lounge vary, as during the day you’ll find an older sports fan crowd, but in the evenings you’ll often find a younger party-friendly good times environment, as a proud supporter of the Silicon Valley Roller Girls, you’ll occasionally see one of these lovely vixens, though the other patrons in the evening are just as easy on the eyes.
