Ja Rule is in jail again, just days after getting out gun charges. This time, he’ll be serving time for tax evasion, Zap 2 It reported on Mar. 1.
According to the report, Ja Rule left prison last week for illegal possession of a gun, and was immediately taken into federal custody for tax evasion.
Ja Rule is now in jail until July for failure to pay his taxes. The rapper admitted that he failed to pay taxes on the $3 million he made from 2004-2006 while he was living in New Jersey.
Ja Rule was moved from a jail in upstate New York, to Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. The detention center houses prisoners who are awaiting court dates, or have little time left on their jail sentence.
