J. R. Ewing will get his big send off on "Dallas" tonight. Actor Larry Hagman passed away recently and fans are now looking at who shot J. R. part two. On March 11, Yahoo reported that the the "Dallas" producers are speaking out about the send off that Larry will get tonight.
Cynthia Cidre, a producer for the show, says that Larry Hagman was a lot like J. R. Ewing, but without the bad part. He was an amazing and funny man. She said it was very surreal to write the part of the show where J. R. died after Larry had just passed away.
Larry died back in Dec. of 2012 and they were still filming season 2 of "Dallas." Tonight on the show they will do a huge tribute to the man and the character in a funeral that brings back characters even from the original "Dallas."
