Due to outrageous demands, Jennifer Lopez was dropped from a major gig. The pop queen would have been performing in front of a television audience of 60 million people during the India’s Premier League Cricket Tournament. According to Radaronline.com, the actress and pop star diva demands proved to be too much for producers of the show and therefore dropped Lopez from the huge offer. This seems to be more of a loss for Lopez because this audience is huge; last year it drew an audience of 57 million, which is very similar to a halftime Super Bowl show audience.
Lopez list of demands didn't only include a list of demands for her, but she also demanded a private plane, dozens of hotel rooms for her staff and entourage; to include security, stylists, assistants, and personal chef. Lopez also demanded to have white couches placed in her dressing room. Seems the actress and pop diva has a history of outrageous demands on her tour riders. In 2010, when asked to perform for the AIDS benefit video, Lopez demanded a 45 foot trailer to be equipped with white couches, white drapes, white tablecloths, white lilies, and expensive Diptyque candles. After Lopez was obviously dropped from the offer due to her outrageous demands, NYPost sources said a spokesperson for the 43 year old actress/pop star diva, claims Lopez turned down the huge offer because of her busy recording schedule for an upcoming album. Not sure if this is true, but most entertainers would jump on an opportunity of this magnitude. Lopez’s diva-like outrageous demands caused the show’s producers to drop Lopez’s offer and replace her with rapper Pitbull who will be performing at the event instead.
