Selfies are nothing new, but when Jennifer Lopez posts one of herself on the Internet, it's buzz worthy news, and that's putting it lightly. J.Lo posted a bathtub selfie from her cell phone ahead of her 45th birthday Thursday. Many would agree that soap suds and rose petals in a bathtub never looked so good, compliments of the sexy "American Idol" judge, citing a July 25 Huffington Post report.
A Jennifer Lopez selfie is always a welcome addition to the crowed space on social media, and her smartphone snaps are always tastefully done. Even in light of the naughty thoughts that are conjured up when gazing at a picture of the amazing entertainer in a tub, the photo is a class act.
J.Lo's selfie pic (shown here) in a bathtub was posted on her account with the following caption:
Soaking it all in... #birthdaygirl #itsmyparty #quietbeforethestorm
The image of the popular singer-turned "Idol" judge looks like cover art from Vogue or Cosmopolitan magazines. The caption is short, but Lopez lets the stunning image do the talking. Enough said, right?
Later, Jenny From the Block joined about 100 of her friends in Southampton, NY at a joint and celebrated her special day like a boss. On hand to help J.Lo celebrate the big 4-5 were among the biggest names in Hollywood: Leah Remini, French Montana and girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Andy Cohen, and Fat Joe, to name a few.
Jenny's ex boyfriend, Casper Smart, sent Lopez a bday shout-out on Twitter:

The guest of honor posed for a number of photographs that later showed up on social media accounts. However, it is the J.Lo bathtub selfie that's commanding the entire buzz today.
Whether she's draped in that famous green Versace dress, clad in body-hugging denims, sporting nude leotards, or a rocking hip-cinching skirt, Jennifer Lopez knows how to make a statement and strike a fierce pose like no other.
Meanwhile, J to the Lo is gearing up for another season of judging singing talent. The latest news is that fellow judges, Harry Connick, Jr. and Keith Urban are returning for another go.
Despite the panel's popularity, "Idol" is still in a ratings slump. No longer is "AI" commanding the lion's share of viewers. Instead, shows like "The Voice" and "America's Got Talent" are taking over.
Compared to Lady Gaga's sharing of a naked bathtub selfie after her puking performance at SXSW, J.Lo's bathtub selfie is tame.
