If you're in the mood for some delectable electronic music, look no further than J. Laser. While the act is based in Los Angeles, they have some roots in the New Jersey music scene.

J. Laser members (and brothers) Jordan and Jamie Lawlor once performed in the indie-electronic act Future Future. Based out of Sparta, New Jersey, the duo performed all over the New York/New Jersey region with acts like Four Year Strong, Screaming Females and River City Extension. Along with some performances at SXSW and CMJ, the duo gained a significant amount of buzz, but the duo had to say goodbye to the Garden State when they relocated to California. With Jordan joining French electronic act M83 as a touring member, Future Future was put on hold.

You could say that J. Laser is simply Future Future 2.0, but there's much more to it. The songs have a bigger atmosphere this time around. There's a strong sense of maturity in their songwriting. You can head over to their website to hear two songs: "Laser Love" and "Barbarella".
