A J.L.Mann teacher and coach has been placed on suspension pending an investigation, WSPA reported January 4.
Greenville County School District spokesperson Oby Lyles stated to news media that Jamie Mathew Crisp has been employed with the district since 2006 at Woodmont and J.L. Mann High Schools. Crisp, currently a teacher and football coach at J.L. Mann, has been placed on suspension, as per district policy.

Crisp faces a $200 fine or 30 days in jail if convicted. He will remain on administrative leave pending investigation, at which time a decision will be made concerning future employment.
