Twitter fans are all curious what Pottermore really is. Fans are all taking guesses what Pottermore will turn out to be. Some have guessed a new book, a MMORPG, or a Harry Potter encyclopedia.
Pottermore is NOT a new book
J.K. Rowling’s spokeswoman Rebecca Salt said today the Pottermore website is "not a new book" and "not directly related" to the final Potter movie, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," . She added, "We aren't saying any more than that!"
A Harry Potter encyclopedia is a definite possibility. J.K. Rowling previously told the TODAY show she “probably will” publish a Potter encyclopedia, promising many more details about her beloved characters.
Rowling said, “I suppose I have [started] because the raw material is all in my notes,” Rowling said.
Even though the spokeswoman said Pottermore is not a new book, it could still be an encyclopedia.
