J.K. Rowling isn't writing any more Harry Potter books, but the successful author hasn't forgotten her beloved characters. On Tuesday the author, along with Scholastic, released a never before seen video for the 15th anniversary of the book series in the United States. Celebrating in the schools, the video reveals what J.K. Rowling misses most about the series.
J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books are all bestsellers. Having sold more than 160 million duplicates in the United States and 500 million worldwide, readers around the globe are familiar with her work. More than 70 languages and transformed eight blockbuster motion pictures, making her name world known.
For the 15th anniversary celebration, every one of the seven books are getting a remake by the artist Kazu Kibuishi. The new covers hinge on an important part of the book, and replaces Mary Grandpre's work in the soft cover versions. The box set featuring all of the new cover art is available today.
