J&J Snack Foods introduces new Minute Maid 100% Juice Bars

The snow is gone, spring is here and warmer days are upon us. Finally, right? Warmer weather is the perfect opportunity to eat yummy frozen treats especially new ones like the Minute Maid 100% Juice Bars, which were recently introduced by J&J Snack Foods. These new juice bars are delicious and they come in three delectable flavors: grape, cherry (my personal fave) and orange (my five year old loved the orange one). I felt good about being able to offer my child this healthier kid-friendly treat. These bars are the only juice novelty made with 100% juice in mainstream retail. The bars are low calorie, gluten and nut free, no high fructose corn syrup and are processed in a peanut and tree nut free facility. In addition, at 2.5 fl. oz. these bars are a fantastic portion controlled snack. So many kids have nut allergies and many day care centers and schools are nut free so it’s good to know that these snacks are available.

Minute Maid 100% Juice Bars will be sold at all Walmart stores first and will then expand nationwide throughout the spring and summer. US retailers will include Giant Eagle, Kroger, Meijer, Publix, Shop Rite and Wegman’s. The juice bars come in a box of 12 and the suggested retail price per box is $3.59.

If you are looking for another low fat frozen snack, J&J Snack Foods also makes Whole Fruit Sorbet & Greek Frozen Yogurt. It’s a perfectly swirled pairing of its most popular sorbets including Raspberry, Strawberry and Mango and Greek frozen yogurt. This probiotic-packed treat contains pieces of real fruit in a re-sealable, portion-controlled cup. This snack is only 100 calories, contains four grams of protein and is a good source of both calcium and Vitamin A per serving. This delicious frozen treat promotes good health and wellness. Probiotics, including Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus acidophilus contained in Whole Fruit Sorbet & Greek Frozen Yogurt, have been linked to health benefits including boosting the immune system.

Whole Fruit Sorbet & Greek Frozen Yogurt cups have a suggested retail price of $3.99-$4.49 and are sold at Wegman's, ShopRite, Sam's and Weis stores.
