J.D. Power Names Verizon Wireless Network Quality Leader

J.D. Power and Associates today released its 2014 Wireless Network Quality Performance Study - Vol. 1, ranking Verizon Wireless the network quality leader in all six regions of the U.S. This news comes on the heels of the RootMetrics study released yesterday, also ranking Verizon Wireless highest for Overall Performance nationwide.

These two studies provide a great window into Verizon Wireless efforts to offer the best wireless network in the U.S. Here are some interesting tidbits concerning their growth in recent years:

· Verizon Wireless introduced its 4G LTE network in 2010, and the company continues to build out its network to meet customer demand with new technologies such as AWS.
· Verizon Wireless operates the nation’s largest super-fast 4G LTE network, which is twice the size geographically of any other 4G LTE network in the US.
· Verizon invested $9.4 billion in its wireless network during 2013.

Indeed, Verizon Wireless continues to lead the way in network quality across-the-board. Kudos to Big Red!
