If you have money to burn, then J. Crew Baby is just what you need to pamper your little darling in indulgent Italian cashmere. Prices vary, starting with a pair of cashmere leggings for baby at $98, to luxurious blankets that cost $198.
Nature Baby for J. Crew is still available for those mothers who want only the best organically grown and processed cotton at much more affordable rates, yet still have the J. Crew signature of stripes and bright colors.
Jenny Cooper, J. Crew designer, told Today the new collection of cashmere babywear is “really soft on the skin.” However, the deluxe baby line is only hand washable. While baby skin will not be chaffed, and honestly, there are dozens of baby brands that make soft and comfortable machine washable infant and toddler clothes, the J. Crew baby line will not hold up to pureed carrots and projectile vomit.
The J. Crew Baby cashmere line of extravagant clothes for tots seem more suited to the likes of Kim Kardashian or Beyoncé, but not practical for the average mom.
