No major holiday celebration would be complete without a little bubbly, and J. Black's Feel Good Kitchen & Lounge has concocted a fantastic cocktail for the holidays to get everyone in the right state of mind. Just a touch of St. Germain elderflower liqueur gives the classic French 75 cocktail a bit more complexity.

20 must-have winter cocktails: not a hot toddy in sight

  • 1 fl oz Hendrick's gin
  • ½ fl oz St. Germain
  • 1 ½ fl oz simple syrup
  • ¾ fl oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 5 fl oz Champagne
  • Lemon twist, for garnish

1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, St. Germain, simple syrup, and lemon juice with ice.

2. Shake and strain into a martini glass and top with champagne.

3. Garnish with a lemon twist, first twisting it over the glass to release the oils into the drink.
