IVEC Pet Carnival is Saturday, July 14

This Saturday will be the14th annual Pet Carnival at Indianapolis Veterinary Emergency Center(IVEC). The Pet Carnival is free to attend but you are encouraged to take along items that will be donated to local shelters. They will also be collecting money to donate to "Dollars for Dempsey". The Pet Carnival will run from 10 AM - 2 PM at 5425 Victory Drive which is located just off I-465 and Emerson Avenue on the South side.

It will be a fun filled day with something for everyone. Leashed or caged pets are welcome in to join in the fun and there will be water available for them to drink and play in. Tony Hoard and his K9 FrizB crew that competed on America's Got Talent will be there performing. Scooby Doo will be there to greet your children.

Come early for free hot dogs, popcorn and lemonade. There will be many vendors and informational booths to visit. Take time to cool off in the Splash Zone or under the misting fans. Want to know what your pet is really thinking? Stop by the pet psychic booth for some insight on Fluffy or Spot. Check out the live demonstations from the IMPD Mounted Patrol . While there, you can take a tour of IVEC and learn more about their canine and feline blood donor program. Don't forget the rescue groups that will be there with adoptable animals. Pet Supplies Plus will also be providing goodie bags to the first 500 attendees.
