Last year this writer attended their concert and if you enjoy Southern Gospel music, then this is the destination for you this Saturday. Ivan played old time favorites such as 'Midnight Cry,' 'Proud to be an American,' and 'Alright.' Ivan's testimony about his favorite song is this:

In 2008 Ivan recorded a very special song entitled 'I Choose' which topped the charts at the number #1 position. This message became universal for Ivan and his audience as the lyrics of hope and encouragement rang out to a hurting world that they have the power to choose life over death, joy over sorrow and Faith over hopelessness. "The choice we have to follow God in the good times and the bad is easy once we make the decision to simply chose God.

Now for the delightsome group called the Ball Brothers. Last year they played old time favorites such as:

  • Beulah Land
  • There is Hope
  • It's all about the Cross
  • Not Anymore
  • You Love me anyway

This is a quartet that definitely wows their audiences from the moment they come on stage and so this writer is looking forward to attending both of these concerts this Saturday. Hope to see many of my readers there March 29, 2014. If you do not want to drive, you can take the Amtrak to Lincoln, Illinois and here is the link for Amtrak Trains to Lincoln, Illinois.
