Making time for a family outing at the beach (or even if you go alone) is always a Summer must. You'll find the waves lapping at the shore; feel the wet sand under your feet and between your toes; watch the kids bounce beach balls back and forth to each other; ride your bicycle along the bike path; and of course, the sun shining down on you. Yes, Summer is merely a thought, and there's much to do before those happy, carefree days arrive. Take a look at the photographs above and bring back those sweet memories of the season as you prepare.
Your camera should be your constant companion when walking and playing at the beach. The landscape is a must to photograph. The colorful flowers, cacti and other airplants, as you can see in one of the photos above, greet you as you walk on by towards the sand and water.
Right now the ocean water is still and the birds are enjoying the wet sand, but your turn will be here before you know it.
These pictures were taken with a couple different cameras. I used the Kodak EasyShare M580 to take the following pictures: the beach front homes and landscape plants and the footprints in the sand. The Canon Rebel XT was used to take the beach water pictures. Enjoy.
