It Is that time again ?  YES its time once again for  HEROES  GAY DAYS 2010  Orlando June 1-7 and if you plan on going but do not have any hotel reservation yet plan on sleeping in your car.  If you are able to find a hotel room it will be  very expensive and probably far off the beaten path from all the activity's.

Gay Days began in 1991 as a one day event.  Not affiliated with any  theme park or business, just an organized group of  gay and lesbian with one mission in mind, to have fun !   It began with The Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Community Of Orlando encouraging all its participates to "Wear Red And Be Seen". That first day  had about 135,000  celebratory party people and has grown over the years in size to a week long gay and Lesbian vacation venue generating  well over 100  million dollars plus for the community.

That first day it was Gay Day at Disney.  It quickly spread to all the  theme .parks, every hotel and business in the Orlando community.  With so many events to attend it can quite expensive and time consuming.  Its best to go to the website GAYDAYS.COM  explore all the possibility's.  Parks do not allow  bags or  back packs,  so  Eat a big breakfast food in the parks is overpriced  not to mention the long lines, Don't bring to many things with you, keep it simple and  oh yea....Don't forget to wear something red ! After a long hot day in the sun  make sure you always schedule a good dinner and some rest before you begin the evening. If you don't you will regret it later.  There are events in every hotel and bar and club in town. Something for everyone  women's events, something for bisexuals, transgenders, drag, leather every sub culture of our society.  In addition to the sun baked days and steamy nightclub nights make plans to attend a group event making great connections with people of all kinds.  There are groups and meetings  for  Gay AA,  mixed parents, single parents, music lovers,  writers,  what ever your interests there is something for  everyone at every nook and crannie at  GAY DAYS.  Lots  of souvenirs to buy   and things to remember your fabulous weekend besides the red shirt. One of the best souvenirs to buy is one of the great Gay Days music  mix CDs to play at home. Remember the music,  don't forget the sunblock!   If you cant make it this year start making your plans for next year to  get the best prices and to be able to get to do everything you want to do.  Be a part of the greatest LGBT celebration on earth !
