ITL Productions & Ripped Radio Network are proud to announce the DMV All-Star Charity Basketball Event on Saturday, June 21st at Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, DC. This event was launched in an effort to provide awareness and education of worthy causes that affect our community, while also providing a platform for local artists to gain exposure and showcase their talent.

The highest rated online entertainment outlet in the DC Metropolitan Area and an up and coming entertainment services agency have joined forces with local artists to create a family-friendly celebrity basketball game with live performances from some of the biggest names in the DMV to raise funds for sickle cell charities. Proceeds from the DMV All-Star Charity Basketball Event will benefit INOVA Blood Donor Services, the Howard University Center for Sickle Cell Disease, and Faces of Our Children.

Notable personalities participating in this event include Doug Kammerer (NBC4), Wisdom Martin (FOX5), Dave Owens (WUSA9), DJ Heat & Mr. Peter Parker (WPGC 92.5FM), DJ Flava (WKYS 93.9FM), Diamondboy Luis (El Zol 107.9FM), and Mike Wise (The Washington Post), and singer Reesa Renee.

Ripped Radio (the show) was formed in May of 2006; it then became Ripped Radio Network in February 2010. RRN is the longest running Online Entertainment Network in the Washington, DC region and has expanded with LIVE shows in cities such as New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Springfield (MA), Austin (TX), as well as in Canada and the United Kingdom. RRN continues as one of the most innovative Radio/Entertainment networks in the country.

ITL Productions was founded in 2014 by entertainment specialist by “Daryn E.” Anderson with a mission to propel up and coming artists to the next level. The company specializes in artist development, booking, and event promotion. A former community news writer, she has provided media coverage for noted events to include Maryland Fashion Week, and interviewed national recording artists such as Dru Hill, KeKe Wyatt, and Jon B., as well as countless other local artists, designers, authors, actors, community activists, city council members, business owners, trailblazers and unsung heroes.

With the collaborative efforts of these two entities, the DMV All-Star Charity Basketball Event is sure to be one you won’t want to miss. Details and ticket information can be found online at DMVcharityevent.com.
