Communities can make a difference in a child's life. Be the change.

The Community Empowerment Series of St. Johns County is launching their second annual event with five prominent experts in their fields speaking on issues that concern our youth today:

• Bullying
• Stranger Danger
• Body Image
• Peer Pressure
• Cyber safety

In communities there are people that want to make a difference in the lives of children, there are businesses and individuals that want to help support those to be the difference in the lives of raising our future leaders.

Together a community has the ability to empower, inspire and educate parents, teachers and students to enrich and strengthen their lives.

St. Johns County, located in Northeast Florida, is listed as the best school district in the state of Florida.

That is impressive when people are used reading the tragic headlines coming out of Florida about bullying, cyberbullying and youth suicides.

The Community Empowerment Series believes that knowledge is power and empowering the community can provide families and schools with a safer, healthier and kinder environment.

St. Johns County is also home to the oldest city in the country, St. Augustine, which turns 450 years-old next year. It seems they are an excellent role model for other cities in our country.

Isn't it time you started a Community Empowerment Series in your city?

You can be the difference too, our children are our future.
