We’re still a ways off from the premiere of Saturday Night Live’s big 40th season, which is sure to include plenty of surprises and celebration, but you’ll be able to start celebrating a bit early come next month with an upcoming line of candy inspired by the comedy institution.

Candy and gift retailer IT’SUGAR announced via press release on Monday that it is teaming up with the NBC show to produce the line of products, which will be available in stores and online starting Sept. 13 through the holiday season.

The line is comprised of more than 50 products referencing famous sketches throughout SNL’s history and includes both candy and novelty products. On the candy side, the product line includes everything from Hans and Franz ‘Get Juiced’ Wax Bottles, Colon Blow (nutritious!), Mary Katherine Gallagher chocolate bars, Vogelcheck mints (appropriate, given the Vogelcheck family’s tendency to be quite...affectionate), and Gilly Sour Gummy Hearts. Sure to be a popular choice is the box of salty peanut butter malt balls called--wait for it--Schweddy Balls.

As for the non-candy novelties, SNL fans will be able to buy talking plush dolls shaped like characters such as Stefon and Debbie Downer, coffee mugs, lip balm, and hand sanitizers, among many other items.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with such an iconic brand as Saturday Night Live to celebrate 40 years of laughter,” IT’SUGAR founder and CEO Jeff Rubin said. “Their irreverent comic sensibility is right in line with our philosophy of never taking life too seriously and making laughter your number one priority.”

Ben & Jerry’s paid homage to SNL back in June when it introduced two special store-only flavors: Gilly’s Catastrophic Crunch and Lazy Sunday. The company, which introduced a limited-edition Schweddy Balls flavor of its own in 2011 (and generated a little controversy in the process), has hinted that there will be more SNL-themed flavors released later this year to coincide with the anniversary.

Although NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt said there are “many ways” the network plans to celebrate SNL’s 40th anniversary this coming season, one of the biggest events will be a three-hour live special scheduled to air on Feb. 15, 2015. NBC did not mention which former cast members will be returning to participate, so we’ll likely have to wait and see what fan favorites stop by.
