Tampa’s own Lowry Park Zoo has a limited time exhibit that visitors will definitely want to check out. The “Sea Lion Splash” will be a new, educational and fun-filled experience for visitors of all ages to learn about the intriguing sea lions.
The Sea Lion exhibit will teach visitors about the California and Patagonia sea lions. These types of sea lions live along the shorelines of Mexico, Central America and South America.
Visitors will not only learn a lot about sea lions but also get to see their tricks that they are so well known for. The flips and tricks are sure to WOW audiences as well as cause some chuckles!
Besides the show itself, the Sea Lion Splash will also include some other fun attractions as well. Children can enjoy a bounce house and slide. There will also be a giant sandbox to play in as well as an interactive photo opportunity in Sea Lion Splash, for an additional fee. Visitors can stop by the Sea Lion Splash gift shop to pick up a souvenir, or two! If you need a snack to satisfy your hunger there will be fun summer-like foods and drinks to satisfy your cravings.
The Sea Lion Splash will only be open until May 31st 2014. The exhibit is open from 10am until 5pm with presentations usually taking place at 10:45 am, 1:00pm and 3:45pm daily. The Sea Lion Splash exhibit is an additional $2 per person in addition to the Lowry Park Zoo admission price.
