Burning Heat is an original Boston rock band that formed in 2007 by four young talented and hungry for success musicians who graduated from Berklee College of Music. This band has been playing excessively in the New England club scene since its formation. At the moment, they've written and demoed all the songs which will be recorded as the band's first album later this year. On Friday night at Pete's Bar and Grill, 540 South Street, Quincy, it's The Dented Cans with Joe Fitz. Fitz has been playing around the Boston area for years and has built a loyal following that appreciates the twisted humor that runs through all of his original music. His songs “Sexy Legs “ and “My Baby got a Head Injury” have audiences singing along. His first C.D. “Leaking Syrup”, produced by Professor Doug Bell of Bellevue Cadillac has become well known in the area due to the direct distribution of over 4,000 copies.
Also on Friday, Glenn Matlock of the Sex Pistols will be at The Midway Cafe, 3496 Washington Street, Jamaica Plain. Joining Matlock, Sylvain Sylvain of the New York Dolls. "When I say I'm in love, you best believe I'm in love...L U V." The Midway has presented the best acts and the best variety acts in Boston since 1987.
At Firefly's, 350 East Main Street, Marlborough, it's the Section 42 Band on Friday night. This cover band is made up of seasoned musicians who have been involved in the music scene on the East Coast for years.

Chicago Steve aka drummer Steve Carter, will be performing on Saturday night with the Shaun England Trio at the Stoughton House of Brews, 28 Porter Street, Stoughton (781)436-8435
Shaun England creates thought provoking music attracting the Bob Dylan fans. His music and recordings have been featured on WGBH radio Boston as well as other stations. His songs, "Down the Line" and "Lay me Down" will be available on iTunes and Amazon.
The Fat City Band will be playing on Saturday night at the Acton Jazz Cafe, 103 Nagog Park, Acton (978)263-6161. They are a high energy, six piece, swing, jump blues and New Orleans style R&B band.
