The yearly Walk MS is coming up and this will be the first reminder for everyone in Lima, and all of Northwest Ohio, that it will soon be time to don the orange t-shirts and head out for a walk with friends and family.
Thousands have already received their registration letters reminding them that the time has come to gather around again, and, yes, people are hearing co-workers mention these next couple months are going to be busy ones, but for those who are new to the travels with multiple sclerosis (MS) and Walk MS, being able to sign up was made easy as well.
The National MS Society has it set up to register online, calling 1-800-fight-MS to give your name and address for them to send a packet to or, printing off the registration online and faxing it to your local MS Society. NW Ohio's MS Society fax number is: 419-897-9733.
They put up a webcast, “What's New in MS Research for 2012”, with Dr. Timothy Coetzee, Society Chief Research Officer, and a panel, one of the panelists being Dr. Robert Fox from the Cleveland Clinic, to share just how transformative they believe 2012 will be for those with this disease.
Cleveland Clinic and Dr. Fox have been in the midst of MS news for several months now.
