After numerous rumors and cryptic tweets, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, NeNe Leakes has announced that after reconciling earlier this year, she and her ex-husband, Gregg Leakes, are engaged and will be remarrying.
During a recent appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, NeNe revealed that she and Gregg got engaged for the second time just after the clock struck midnight on New Year's.
NeNe and Gregg originally married in 1998 and fell subject to "The Real Housewives divorce curse" and divorced in 2011. NeNe did not want to divorce Gregg in the first place, but after Gregg made horrible accusations in the press to her, including claiming he invested $300,000 for her to become a housewife and that she had better pay him every dime back, NeNe decided the divorce was for the best. She briefly dated, but clearly no one could capture her heart and after NeNe hit massive success with appearances on shows such a Celebrity Apprentice, Glee, and The New Normal, Gregg came crawling back. NeNe was slow to let Gregg back into her heart, but eventually the two happily together and are now engaged.
