We often don’t get a chance, when challenged by life, to toot our own horn. This is one of those rare occasions. As of today, the registration has been made online with the US Copyright department, payment has been tendered, and the necessary copies have been sent, by postal mail, to their offices. The actual title is Green Economics, (Rethinking America, A Path through Charlotte, NC). The author is yours truly, ME.
The journey really started to take form in late 2008 and early 2009. Some of the photos actually were taken before any steps to put ideas on pen and paper. The book was substantively completed prior to number of events I covered and wrote about, on www.examiner.com. The final draft was made in 2010, and shelved until now.
This first book of mine is truly a labor of love and interests; a reflection of joy, for the timeline flowed thru a period of uncertainty, new explorations, among a series of efforts to overcome those proverbial bumps in the road. Simply put, the closing of doors blossomed into a determination to maintain the creativity and passion for accounting and business matters.
My storyline offers a strategic solution to igniting the economic engine of the US, by uniquely applying a green industry idea, solar power. The entire book does so by capturing a look at Charlotte, NC, thru discussions and pictures, in part, my experience as a transient and observer, to the area. It deliberates upon energy alternatives, what is being done by others, as individuals, US cities, and foreign countries.
You’ll soon hear of the availability and pricing details in the near term. I look forward to your support. For now, a time to give notice, take a moment of breather, and celebrate the accomplishment, something unplanned yet found a way to evolve.
