It's official! Emily Maynard and Tyler Johnson are engaged

Emily Maynard and Tyler Johnson are officially engaged according to US Weekly, but many are wondering how long it will last. This is her fourth engagement. Emily tried twice to find the love of her life on TV reality show s "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette."

A source told E! that Tyler asked Emily to marry him right after the New Year at her home in Charlotte. He then gave her five diamond studded band. Tyler is a management consultant and according to E!, he is a true gentleman with old fashioned values. Before asking Emily to marry him, he asked permission from her and the parents of the late Ricky Hendrick.

Emily is quoted in US Weekly, to say, "He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki and me rings. It was so sweet! Ricki loves him more than she likes me!"

Emily is not the luckiest when it comes to engagements. She was engaged to Ricky Hendrick, the father to her daughter, Ricki. However, six months into their engagement, Ricky was killed in a plane crash. Her next engagement was to Brad Womack of "The Bachelor" but their relationship began going downhill when "The Bachelor" aired. She noticed that Brad the same things to her, that he said to the other women. Next she was engaged to Jef Holm, the Bachelorette winner. They too broke up six months later, because they wanted different things.

Unlike Jef and Brad, they met in a church and became friends. It wasn't until her breakup with Jef that they started dating and things became serious.

We wish them much happiness in their life together.
