It’s not too late to donate to your favorite theatre! Did you know that by helping your favorite theaters, not only are you contributing to their continued excellence but that it can also be tax deductible? Here are a few of the theaters in San Diego that you could help!

The La Jolla Playhouse
A donation to the La Jolla Playhouse is an essential way to ensure that they can continue to create quality productions and delivering award-winning education and outreach programs to San Diegans. For a tax-deductible donation of $150 or more, you will earn additional benefits as a La Jolla Playhouse donor and gain insider access. If you have a preference of what type of program you want to support you can choose from one of the following: Education & Outreach Department,New Plays, Artistic Departmentor Higher Education.
Along with supporting the theater you get some amazing benefits for being a donor as well!

The Old Globe Theatre
As a not-for-profit theatre the Old Globe relies on generous patrons to help cover all their expenses. Did you know that the cost of the theater ticket only covers half the cost of the seat? Support this theater and receive the benefits that come along with being a donor! Among the ways you can support the theatre are by becoming an Annual Fund Donor, attending special events the the Globe Gala, or by making a donation.

The Cygnet Theatre
The Cygnet Theatre is always looking for passionate people to support the arts and help them continue to put out the type of productions that they do. If you make a donation to the Cygnet Theatre you have a variety of benefits as well as being able to donate to find a specific program if you so choose. Those programs include the Artist Advocate, the Playwrights in Process, the Youth and Learning, and many more!

San Diego Repertory Theatre
Like other theaters the San Diego Rep needs to cover the difference between what it costs to mount a production and the money that is brought in with tickets. Your gift in any amount will have a direct impact on the work they can do and comes with some neat benefits as well!

The Diversionary Theatre
This theatre is has a goal to get 20 new donors by New Years Eve, will you be one of them? Diversionary is a theatre that celebrates the arts an entertainment for the LGBT community and for all of San Diego as a whole. Help this theatre tell stories and nurture the development of new plays and musicals of the course of the coming year.
