The “Brigadeiro” is a unique combination of Brazilian tradition, love and Belgian chocolate in one recipe. Condensed milk, first manufactured in Brazil in 1921, made it possible for Brazilians to create a chocolate sweet that remains high on party menus.

The bite-sized sweets are available in a myriad of flavors from chocolate cookie and cherry to lemon zest and pistachio.

The latter is a decadent combination of Belgian white chocolate, pistachio paste, condensed milk butter and topped with a generous sprinkling of pistachio flakes.

Try a bite or two with a brooding merlot or a full-bodied sangiovese.

A glass of Tawny port is a dream match for the coconut confection, made from condensed milk and topped with coconut flakes. The intensity of the port brings out the sweetness and crunch of the candy.

The classic selection is a velvety Belgian chocolate whipped to a light consistency and topped with chocolate sprinkles. It is more than a truffle. Pour an intense petite sirah with this treat or a lush, cabernet sauvignon to increase your sweet Brazilian experience.
