After a night of playing in Atlantis’ casino with Michael Jordan and other celebrity friends, Beyonce and Jay-Z continued their holiday in the Bahamian sun by celebrating their daughter’s first birthday.
Jay-Z share a photo of Blue Ivy, with the Bahamian beach as a backdrop. While her face was not visible, the toddler seems to be getting her casino practice in, as she played over a deck of cards.
Mom Beyonce was rumored to be scouting or shooting a music video in The Bahamas. Kelly Rowland also joined the Carters for their trip and took pleasure in tweeting “BAHAMAS one of the GREATEST places on EARTH! Absolutely beautiful! And everyone was SO nice! #tilnextime” through her KELENDRIA ROWLAND@kellyrowland account.
The Bahamas holds a special place in the heart of the Knowles family. At 17, members of Destiny’s child were bridesmaids when Solange Knowles got married in Grand Bahama. Matthew Knowles, patriarch of the family and music manager for several hitmakers has family on that island as well and spent his childhood there before leaving for college.
The Carter/Knowles clan are just a few celebrities who island hopped over the holidays. Also vacationing in the Bahamas were Atlanta reality stars, Bahamian son Rick Fox, Shaquille O’Neil, Magic Johnson and Chad Johnson, to name a few.
