On February 6, 2009 I submitted my first article as the Houston Cheap Examiner for Examiner.com. It has been enjoyable, and, thankfully, not terribly difficult for me to post regular articles. Houston provides a broad canvas for articles related to inexpensive dining.
Here are a baker’s dozen of my favorite ones since I started three years ago.

-- The wonderful coda for this ensemble, “The Street Parade”, seems to have slipped off the Grooveshark playlist I assembled, but you should still get an idea what I’m after.
“The Devil or Ken Hoffman, your choice....” – April 5, 2010
-- There was another piece about the Ken Hoffman-labeled-hot-dog that I nearly titled, “Ken Hoffman proclaims he won’t touch his wiener.”
“Kenneally’s…the taste of original Chicago pizza” – November 15, 2010
-- The pizza at Kenneally’s is not only very good, but has some history behind it.
