We would all love to get our hands on a million bucks. Fortunately for you, today you can! Well, so to speak. May 20 is Be a Millionaire Day! The day that you are allowed to splurge and act like a million bucks. Today is also a great opportunity to make some smart decisions and plans to invest on a possible wealthy future.

According to Forbes, these are the highest paid actors of 2013: Number one is Robert Downey Jr. with $75 million. Downey Jr.’s earnings come from his work in “The Avengers,” the highest-grossing movie of all time.

Second is Channing Tatum with $60 million. Tatum’s work in 2013 includes “White House Down,” “This is the End,” and “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.” Following Tatum is Hugh Jackman with $55 million. Jackman is best known for playing Wolverine. He also scored an Oscar nomination for his work in “Les Miserables.”

Fourth is Mark Wahlberg with $52 million. Wahlberg starred in one of the most unexpected hits of 1012, “Ted.” The comedy earned over $550 million, having a budget of $50 million. Wahlberg can next be seen in “Transformers.” In fifth place is Dwayne Johnson with $46 million. Johnson starred in “Fast & Furious 6” and “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.”

8. Tom Cruise with $35 million
