This comedy series is ready to start season nine, but fans should prepare themselves for the end of the series. FXX has already renewed this comedy through season 10, but that season will be the final season for the show. Glenn Howerton is one of the stars of the series, and he spoke about the end of the series in a new interview. He said the following, according to Spoiler TV:
"There’s a certain point where you wear out your welcome and we don’t want to do that. We want to leave them wanting more. We spend a lot of time trying to find new lines to cross. We’re not trying to offend people or gross them out, but we’re looking to surprise them. I think we’re proud of what we’ve done so far, so it’s time to stop."
This series has been making fans laugh for almost a decade, and that is a rarity on television these days. Those involved want to take the series out before it loses the appeal it currently has. "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" will premiere season nine on Sept. 4, and it will air on Wednesday nights on FXX.
