It's almost Chicken Raid time at Northside Tavern!

Every year, Northside Tavern does the annual Chicken Raid in memory or Atlanta blues man Frank Edwards. This year, it's taking place on March 23 and 24. Some of the performers this year are the legendary Beverly "Guitar" Watkins, Roy Lee Johnson, Eddie Tigner, and Essie Mae Brooks. In addition, the event goes international with Japanese harmonica player Yoshito Kiyono.

Additional performers will include Mudcat, of course, and South Carolina's Freddie Vanderford, a very entertaining fellow indeed. Then there's The Villain Family, Shelton Powe, The Rockaholics, Robert Lee Coleman, and Lola as well as way too many others to name.

It's a fun time at a real dive bar that is perfect for the blues and full of good vibes. And it's for a very good cause, So save the date and come on out to Northside Tavern for that weekend!
