Last night was the Academy Awards. Many of the trends that were worn on the red carpet could also be worn at formal events here in Naperville.

First, the men brought back old Hollywood style. Most wore classic and slim fitting tuxedos with bowties. There were a couple exceptions however. Jared Leto wore a white jacket and burgundy tie. Leonardo Di Caprio wore a navy blue tuxedo and bow tie. Some men also wore tuxedos with glittery lapels. While the last trend may not be embraced by Naperville society, Men would wear classic and slim fitting tuxedos for formal occasions.

On to the women's trends for Oscar fashion. On the red carpet, full skirts, plunging necklines, and backless dresses were popular. As far as colors, blue, white and a blush color were the it colors.
