The website has been known for offering one random item each day at a low price but has recently expanded. Woot now offers nine different sections full of multiple deals that change each day. The sections cover items for home, kids, sports, tech and more. This is a great website to check each day to look for deals on items you would normally buy, have been meaning to buy or to stock up on gifts throughout the year. Who doesn't have that special someone in their life who loves Star Wars or kitchen supplies?
The best part is that when ran side by side with a Google shopping search the percentage off that Woot claims for the deal is normally pretty accurate. However, every once in a blue moon, Woot offers even better deals with merchandise when they run what is called a Woot-off.
The Woot-off is similar to the daily deals they offer but with a twist. Each item through is sold at a deeper discount with a more limited quantity. In other words, when it sells out it is gone and the next item is posted. Items are really random and can range from diapers to cake pop makers and everything in between but one item offered at the main page only during the Woot-off is highly coveted and consistently jams the website when posted and sells out in seconds; the bag of crap. Yes, the bag of crap. For $1, plus $5 for shipping it is a gamble as to what you get in the bag but people have reported receiving refrigerators, big screen TVs and even cash.
