It's a wonder why "Wunderworld" does play SF longer

"Three's Company" has come and gone but two of its supporting players are headlining a fun and odd clown opera entitled "Wunderworld." It plays this Friday at Saturday at 8pm at The Garage at 715 Bryant Street.

Sara Moore, so magical and wonderful as Mr. Roper in "Company" concieved this fun-sized tale of a new Alice's adventures in a whole new wonderland. Alice, now 85, escapes down the rabbit hole to new enchanted adventures and fun antics with a cast of the cream of the crop of Bay Area performers: Matthew Martin, Michael Phillis, Queenie Moon, Dawn Meredith and Moore herself.

This fun and promising show of music and human animation will depart the city as fast as it got here - playing just through this weekend.

Martin, one of my favorite Bay Area performers who has delighted us in the drag "Golden Girls" and in the film "Baby Jane?" says that last week's audiences went wild and wanted more and Moore (Sara that is). The show is being called a fun-sized clown opera to not only tell of its high theatrics but to let us know that the show is a one act performance and runs just over an hour.

Tickets are just $15 and can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com/directory?q=wunderworld&loc=San+Francisco%2C+C
