It's a new year and it is the perfect time to start thinking about your next trip or trips to Walt Disney World is going to be. Thinking about more than one trip down to Walt Disney world? Are you a Sports enthusiast? Don't think that just because it's Walt Disney World that they are not serious about running. Like to travel when crowds are low? If you are concerned about large crowds, then maybe the best time for you to visit Walt Disney world is during the value season (Jan 2 - Feb 15; July 5 to Oct 4; Nov 26 to Dec 19). Are you a Star Wars Fan? When news came out about Disney's acquisition of LucasFilm, Disney fans went crazy making all kinds of predictions of how Star Wars was going to be incorporated into the Parks. While we have yet to see Disney build the Mos Eisley Cantina somewhere, the month of May is when Star Wars fans enjoy weekends where they can meet Star War performers and see Disney's Hollywood Studios get taken over by the Galactic Empire from May 17 to June 9, 2013. This year’s hosts will be James Arnold Taylor, the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ashley Eckstein, who plays Ahsoka Tano on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV Series on the Cartoon Network.
Can only go at a specific time? No problem. For many, vacations are limited to a specific time set by their employer. For example, if you are in the teaching profession, then your vacations typically are going to be at the same time every year, during the summer. And summers are filled with many things to do – the Magic Kingdom theme park stays open late and one of the best experiences many people talk about is going to Magic Kingdom park at night time – low wait times and fireworks at 10 pm! What is summer time without music and you can find that at EPCOT during the summer, when high energy tribute bands perform all over the America Gardens Theatre.
Dreaming about the Holidays? There is no time more fun than the Holidays at Walt Disney World - Halloween, Thanksgiving and of course, Christmas! Even though it's one of the busiest times at Walt Disney World, there are all kinds of events to do when visiting Walt Disney World. The seasonal magic begins in late September with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, where everyone can dress up in their favorite costumes and trick or treat throughout Magic Kingdom Park, and doesn’t end until the New Year. November is the transition month as the last shows of the Not So Scary Halloween Party are performing and when the Magic Kingdom is getting ready for the next big party is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which is a special time at the Magic Kingdom Park where you see Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, featuring Santa Claus, a stage show and what everyone looks forward to – complimentary hot cocoa and cookies! In EPCOT, the Friday after Thanksgiving is when the Candlelight Processional begins and everyone gets into the holiday mood.
There is really no wrong time to think about when your next Walt Disney World trip is going to be, and anyone considering when to go should pick a time that will give them the biggest opportunity for them to enjoy this incredible experience.
