It’s a mod ‘Mad Men’ season up ahead

Judging from the looks of the promo photos, come this April, audiences will be treated to a mod-filled season 7 as the series prepares to usher in a new decade – the ‘70s. In the photo slide, note the Trans World Airlines (TWA) sign in the background. The air travel giant, now merged with American Airlines since 2001, used to be the third largest airline. Will Don Draper nap them for a client? What can we expect from the corporate ladder climbing Peggy Olson? Is she a Park Avenue or a Rodeo Drive kind of gal?
The above slide-show consists of pictures reminiscent of the days of mini-skirts, polyester, shag carpet and hard Samsonite luggage. It was a time when flight attendants were called stewardesses and men and women were not afraid to wear bright colors or mix plaids with floral prints.

Series creator and producer Matthew Weiner is guarding details like a mama grizzly. However, we can anticipate much of the critically acclaimed drama series to be set in Los Angeles. ‘Mad Men’ which returns April 13 on AMC at 10:00 PM, has consistently been a ratings hit for AMC, winning fifteen Emmys and four Gold Globes awards.

The show premiered on July 19, 2007 and season 7 will be the final season. There series stars: Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, January Jones, Christina Hendricks and John Slattery.
