It's a Food Truck Invasion: Street Eats Festival Comes to Scottsdale

The food truck revolution is in full swing with fans of loyal followers from all across the valley. The Street Eats festival gives traveling foodies and new taste bud seekers an adventure in gourmet cuisine that highlights flavors from around the world.

Be prepared to lick your fingers and taste the savory delights of 50 different types of Food Truck gourmet cuisine. Salt River fields is playing host to the 3rd annual Street Eats Food Truck Festival Saturday and Sunday January 25th and 26.

There will be cooking demonstrations throughout the day everything from burgers, barbeque and grilled cheese. If you are in the mood for Pork Tenderloins then stop on by Chuckies food truck, or if you want succulent lobster which is flown in from Maine then the Lobster Lady is the food truck for you.

No food festival would be complete without a food contest. If you’re up for the challenge then upon admission to the festival head over to the contest stage and sign yourself up. The food eating contest will be held on Saturday ONLY. With specific times throughout the day at 12:45 a Twinkie eating contest, 1:45 Hot Dog eating contest, 2:45 the pie eating contest, at 3:45 sandwich eating contest and the Saltine eating contest at 4:45.

Curb your appetite and come enjoy a fun day of live music, kid’s activities and delicious food. Tickets are $12 for general admission and you can purchase VIP tickets for Sunday. Street Eats Festival opens at 11am to 6pm Saturday January 25th and Sunday January 26th at Salt River Fields off the 101 and Pima Rd in Scottsdale Arizona
