The aforementioned Midwest Fiber and Folk Art Fair runs from Friday to Sunday at the Lake County Fairgrounds, 1060 E. Peterson, Grayslake. Friday and Saturday, 10 AM - 6 PM. Sunday, 10 - 4.

Tangleweed at The Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia, Chicago. 10 PM. $10.

Zak Kerkhoven and Rudy Johnson at Twisted Q Bar B Q, 2053 Ridge Rd, Homewood. 8 PM.

Midwest Folk and Fiber Art Fair continues in Grayslake, 10 AM - 6 PM. Trillium and Guyz with Bad Eyez are among the weekend's performers.

Tangleweed appears at the Evanston Lakeshore Arts Festival in Centennial Park at 3:30 PM.

Merv Collins at the Geneva French Market on 4th Street. 10 AM.
