Here's your chance to enjoy a family-friendly old- fashioned Fall event when Hale Farm & Village in Bath, Ohio plays host to their annual Harvest Festival Weekends on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 and Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20. It is approximately a 30 minute drive from Cleveland to Bath.
Hale Farm & Village Harvest Festival Taking place at Ohio's premier outdoor living history museum, this family-fun, educational event will let you experience daily life of Western Reserve residents in the 1860's and to celebrate the Fall season with all its sights, sounds and tastes.
Among some of the activities offered at the Festival is the chance to use antique farm equipment where you can press apples into cider, grind and shell corn and make (and taste!) apple butter, sauerkraut and old-fashioned popcorn.
Hale Farm & Village will also offer wagon rides around the grounds, pumpkin painting, a corn maze and don't miss the opportunity to jump in one of the giant hay piles.
All the traditional Hale Farm crafts and trade demonstrations will also be offered including candle making, glass blowing, pottery making, blacksmithing and woodworking.
Make sure you pay a visit to the Hale Farm barnyards where you can meet and greet chickens, sheep, hogs and even oxen.
Hours for the Harvest Festival are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. all four days. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Western Reserve Historical Society members are free. Admission includes all Festival activities and all regular Hale Farm & Village activities. Parking is free.
